Does the first generation lag too long on you?

Ok... So every time I get a new Tamagotchi it drags on me for a week! Has this feeling happened to anyone else?

Yeahh... Sometimes I feel like that for other gens. Im waiting forever for my chamamethchi and her brother to grow up so I can turn her brother into a kuromametchi. Feels like a week since they were toddlers. Although it really was 2 days.
