Downloads on a P's?

I know this is kind of a silly question, but can you download things on a tamagotchi p's like you can an ID L? (IrDA US I'm getting one soon and I'm also wondering if I should buy the USB. If it is possible, directions on how to download things would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!
