Dumb question about signature

Is there some way I can turn the little picture in my sig into a link? I tried to do so with both HTML code and BBCode and couldn't get it to work. Is it not allowed on this site or am I just doing something wrong?

You have to do

[url=LINK HERE][img=directlinktoimage][/url]

For some reason that doesn't work for me. Exactly what I type is what it shows up as, rather than the image as a link.

*Edit* Nevermind, that did work for me. I just typed in the image URL incorrectly. Thanks a ton!
