Egg on V1 paused?

I decided to pull out my V1 and play with it, but when I tried to go on the time setting screen, it wouldn't let me. I tried A and C and it didn't seem to work either. I pressed A+B and the egg had paused! I don't know why my V1 is doing this. ;

Try taking the battery out then putting it back in. Or even resetting it, did it freeze?

I think,what Orandatchi is trying to get across is:

She put a new battery in her Tamagotchi Version one.The egg bounced happily on the screen so she set the time.She waited.She couldn't get onto the time screen.She pressed random buttons,frustrated,then she accidentally paused her egg! The egg is on pause now and she would like to know what is going on.

Now,

I think you should replace the batteries or reset the toy.Do you have the right batteries in? If not,that may be the cause.Make sure they are CR2032.
