Entama Happiness?

Hi! Two questions-

On the Entama, is the first row of hearts in the scale icon and first screen happiness?

Is there a way of raising happiness other than WINNING a game, or can you only get halfway through a game and earn happiness?

The first row of hearts (おなか) is actually the hunger meter. The one underneath it (ごきげん) is the happiness meter. You can also raise the happiness by feeding them snacks inside the food menu under おやつ.

I also found out, from my own accord, that in getting pretty far in the game (about 2/3 of the way through the hammer one, for example), you can earn some happiness.
