Envelope on ID L Screen

So today I went to play with my ID L and theres a bug with an envelope on the screen. I opened it but it just goes back to the screen and I can't do anything. How do I get rid of this.?

You can't "get rid of it". Sadly, it means your tamagotchi ran away, probably because you didn't take very good care of it. (Sorry about that) You'll have to reset it.

You don't have to reset; you'll lose all your TamaTomo characters under the book icon, Gotchi points, items, etc. Just press the A and C buttons simultaneously. You'll start at generation 1 again but you won't lose all your stuff.
