Well, like binary said, it isn't a Bandai porduct, as there is no visable Bandai product. Also, lots of other people have had these virtual pets, and they say that they try to take off Tamagotchi. So yes, I am assuming that these are fakes. Also, did you notice that on the package it said 'Version 4', implying that there havebeen more versions of these fakes.
