Ok so I want to get Mamametchi and Papamametchi but if I do will I get the Mame Family because I want to get them but don't want to get the family. Is it only under certain circumstances that they turn into a special family?

I'm pretty sure that if you get Mamametchi and Papamametchi it will turn into a Mame family.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but if you end up with a papatchi and a mamametchi it will turn into a mame family :/

It will only turn into a Mame family if you let a Mametchi marry a Chantotchi. Anything else and you'll get a blended family.

I think you would get a pure family only if you mate a Mametchi with a Chantotchi. But if you marry a Mame family Girl to a Mame family boy (Different from Mametchi with Chantotchi, ie. Furikotchi and Violetchi), it would give you the 'Smart' family
