This is leaning towards attention seeking to me so here's what I'm going to suggest.

Put a request or "ad" in your signature stating you're seeking help to make a forum banner for your personal forum and you would like volunteers to PM you privately for more information. This way it's more a tease and you can discuss privately with the other person what you are looking for and keeping the forum free from clutter :mimitchi:
