On tamagotchi town in order to get the golden tama collect different items and then go back to the toy store at the mall and enter the password to the tamagotchi!!

thornfeldt1, go to the travel agency, click on Chile and there is a hat on one of the rocks. That is how you find it.

I actually have not tried to get the Golden Tama until recently, and it wasn't even for my own Tamagotchi. lol

I was stuck for a long time on where the tie was at.
