Yea, it would. That is like pausing someones real life. I feel much better that I could feel good about having a tamagotchi. And taht people have your back on tamatalk, and they could help you.

Hey there!

It doesn't matter if your a boy with a tamagotchi and your going to high school! You are being urself, which is the most important thing. I have a friend in 8th grade who is a guy and is collecting a whole bunch of tamagotchi's and I think he is the coolest guy I ever met. Don't worry what others think be urself!
