Well you didn't hear it from me i heard it from the D.A.R.E teacher but i do know pure helium deprives the body of oxygen, as if you were holding your breath.

at grad, we had helium balloons, and everyone kept unknotting them and sucking in the helium. it was funny, my friend sounded like a chipmunk. xD
