I got the violetchi family and then my parents were mametchi's mum and dad!! I didn't even get the mametchi family!!

You might have accidentally married Violet to a smart character rather than Sukatchi or their bonding wasn't at 100% when you let it marry to Sukatchi.

And you can only get Mame Family by marying Mametchi to Chantotchi.

The violet family is a mix of cheerful (Sukatchi) and smart (Violetchi). Your 100% bonded Violetchi must marry sukatchi to get the pure family. Is that what you're asking for?
