Debugging is risky. Anyway I found in FAQ that it takes a teen 48hrs (2days) to mature into an adult. Unless you can't help but be really impatient all the time, I'm sure you can wait.

No it's not impossible.

Step 1: have someone else take care of your Tamagotchi

Step 2: go into a coma for 48 hours

Step 3: wake up and take your Tamagotchi back
