It all started like this:

Me and my friend were trying to connect our v5s but when the STAND-BY screen came up and I hit the B button to make it go to the CONNECT screen it went to the screen that said DOWNLOAD or RESET. Does my tama need batteries or is it just a glitch?

See what happens if you change the batteries. It could be a glitch, but the batteries might be the problem.

make sure the back is on right and try new batteries.

My brother's V5 does that too!

What he did to stop that is change the batteries I think.
