Help my Tamagotchi won't give presents 'list full'

Can anyone help? When I try to connect to a friend my Tamagotchi will not give presents it says sorry list full. Also I cannot get the shopkeeper to freeze to enter in secret codes.

youve got 2 many items youll have to delete some.

How do I delete them?

you delete them by going on to the present

list then onto items then choose an item you

dont really want and click on it, it then should

say wrap but dont you have to press on button

"A" now it should say trash press the middle

button twich and hey presto one item deleted!
