Help on a game

I need help on mysims (wii version) because I cant give the podium to the mayor and if anyone knows how to do it please tell me

If you have the apples, go to your workshop and your inventory. Click on the apples and place them where you want them on the podium. Yay! Click "Done" (or something like that, sorry, havn't played MySims in a long time. lol). Go to the Town Hall. Simply press "Give". Place the podium where you want it. Yay! You did it!
