Well, I don't think that you can delete an item, but you could always make it a preasant. That gets rid of it.

You CAN delete items.

1. Go to the book icon.

2. Select present

3. Select "food" or "item".

4. Choose item you want to get rid of.

5. When it says "Wrap?", press A.

6. It should change to "Trash?"

7. Select "Yes" and now your item will be deleted.

No, he is talking about v3. I just checked it out on my v3, and it works just fine.

As he said...

Select the book icon.

Select "Present."

Select "Item."

Choose which item you'd like to delete.

A screen comes up saying, "Wrap?" Instead of pressing the MIDDLE button, press the LEFT button, and a screen will come up saying, "Trash?" NOW press the middle button to confirm, and it will delete your item.
