How do I get the password so I can visit the king?

on the main screen of your tamagotchi, press the A button(you know what it is, right?) 9 times then press the B button. Keep on pressing A until the cursor is on the word "points". Press B. Press B again if you want to donate. You get the codes if you donate the following. First, 5,000. Second, 12,000. Last, but not least, 30,000. Each time, you will get a ring, a cape, and a crown. If you collect all three of 'em, you get an item called "Royal Costume". Your tamagotchi should be an adult to wear this costume(I'm not so sure about this). Then, it says "Password for ??" and it gives you a password. I don't know what that password is, but I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with Nintendo DS Tamagotchi Corner Shop tm. Assuming you have a V3 ...

You have to donate Gotchi Points to the king.

Gotchi Points are the points you earn by winning games. To check how many points you currently have, press A (the left button) until the meter icon in the top left corner of your Tamagothi's screen is shown. Then press B (the middle button) five times.

To donate Gotchi Points to the king, press A (the left button) until the book icon, second from the right at the bottom on your Tamagotchi's screen is shown. Then press B (the middle button). Then press A (the left button) repeatedly until the arrow is next to the POINT menu entry. If you don't see POINT on your screen, don't worry, just press A (the left button) until it shows up. Then press B (the middle button). Now you at the points donation menu. You can select how many points to donate to the king, and you can see how many you've already donated.

At certain donation levels, you will be given a password. Have a paper and pencil handy, because they don't stay on the screen for long. The password donation levels are 5000, 12000, and 30000. You have to break your donations down into at least three transactions between each level. For example, starting at 0, if you donate 5000 in one transaction, you won't get a password. However if you donate 2000, 2000, and then another 1000, then you would get a password. The king's servants will keep track of how much you've donated so far.

well u have to donate at least 5000 points on your toy. and then it will give u a password. But i'm not sure about the 5000 points cause i tried donating that much and i never got a password. so i'm not 100% sure.
