I'm a gen2 and in my signature you'll see my tama's ages and all that but it won't give me passwords for parents!

Go to the "Parents" section and go to a Parent and Press B button keep on pressing it until you see a Password. SOMETIMES they won't give passwords for the OLDEST PARENT.

Sounds like you are on the first generation of your tama's family.

If your tama is the first generation of it's family, that means it has no parents, so therefore you can't get a password.

Because it's a "parents" password.
