It means you have filled up your friend list. You will have to delete some friends to connect again.

Like PockGirl said, Delete some characters. Remember you can only connect with 50 ppl :furawatchi:

It must be that one of your item lists are full.

Meals and snacks have a max. of 15 (so make them both 14 or less)

The item list is 32 (so make sure it's 31 or less).
