well to answer your question they are about a girl of 13(darrel)who goes to a girls only strict bording school(mallory towers) and with her year group comes sally(who becomes darrels best friend)and alice who brightens up the school with her pranks she pulls on her teachers.each year she is there, there is a head girl!!!!read the books to find out if darrel gets to be one!!!!
