I'm Alison - 23 / Canadian / internet time waster. I first got into Tamagotchi way back in '97. I only had one and it lived on my bedside table, inside my desk at school, beside the TV remote.. but mostly in my pocket. When I eventually lost it the fad had already passed, and Tamagotchi were long gone from stores.
Now, of course, I own five.
And there's an Angelgotchi from ebay on it's way to me as of this morning! I'm pretty excited to do battle with that horrible touch screen.
