So I just got a Tamagotchi Mini today and started it up and noticed the screen has an abnormally high contrast to it. There's no way to adjust it either. Is this normal for this model? I was even directly under bright lighting.

I believe that the vintage releases have no contrast adjustment functions, however you can try checking the manual just in case. If it's not mentioned, then there's none.

Nah, nothing, but was just wondering if the Minis normally had a high contrast where you could even see the background pixels, making it harder to see the character.

Note that I am using an HD Logitech webcam under a bright LED desk light--under my room light it's harder to see a bit more.

Also, this guy was freshly taken out of his packaging, I bought it brand new. Can't return it, left feedback already and it works just fine, just has a real dark contrast.

Really? Okay phew, i was worried. mostly because I saw Whiteclaw's video review and hers looks super clear. So I started to worry.

Well mine probably looked different because I was reviewing the Tamagotchi Nano :) not mini. I haven't done a video on the mini or chibi yet. The nano is the newer (tiny Tamagotchi) release. From what I can tell it looks fine!

I get you two mixed up sometimes, I'm sorry. >_<

And alright, thanks. I'd look at it out in the sun except... it hasn't been sunny in over a week.
