How do I connect my TamaGo to other TamaGo's?

My friend and I have been trying to connect our TamaGo's, and it doesn't work.

We go to the heart, press Tama-Go, and then Visit, but it never seems to work. Are we missing a step or what?

ok, go to the IR (heart) icon then go to the tab for the version you want to connect to then when both tamas say "STANDBY" on only one of the tamas press the middle button (if that does'nt work press the middle button at the same time as other person)

I'll try pressing the middle button next time.

I was always afraid to press buttons before incase it would cancel the connection.

Have you got anyother Tamagotchi that you could use to test it out on for EG: say you have a music star and you could connect it with your tama-go the. Try that then repeat for your friends Tamago and find out if it is one of your Tamagotchi that has a fault or glitch!
