This is a link to Rivenn's Tamadex - it lists all the characters by name - showing the graphics version and pixel version:

Right now, there are no guaranteed methods of getting specific characters on the V3 - a lot of it is still trial and error...

but -Ra- has prepared a growth chart showing what some of the various characters evolve into - it might help you a little
