how do I trash items?

hi can any one tell me how to trash my items cause there are some I do't need

1. Select the ninth icon (Notebook).

2. Select "Present".

3. Scroll to the item you want to trash and select it.

4. Press A until you see "Trash" then press B

5. When the "Sure?" screen appears choose Yes

you trash items by following these directions:

1. go to the 9th icon.

2. go to the present sign.

3.then it will show food or item press item.

then delete what you don't want.
