how do you get cool stuff to appear

I can't seem to figure out how people keep putting hearts or stars or something cool in their siggy. I mean, I tried myself but it just said the words i typed in. help me or tip me a little. Thanks!

To do the pretty little hearts, if you have a Windows, then do Alt then 3. ♥ You can try this with different numbers, too! Just play around with it, and see what you can come up with! =]] If you have a Mac, like me, when you're typing, go to Edit, then Special Characters. The Mac actually has cooler ones, too! ☃ ☀ ☠

It is simple. There are a bunch of buttons above the empty box when you post? Well different ones that say color, text ect. You have to use those. All you have to do is....

1.Pick the font effect you want. It will say something like or so. Then you write the text. Then you hit close all tags and get...

Red Text!

Which is....

[COLOR=red]Red Text![/COLOR]

See? Do you get it now?
