How do you play T.V surfing on the tamagotchi V5?

To play the game, look at the character in the upper right-hand corner. That is the character that you want to see on the TV screen. The TV screen will flash with static and 6 different characters. When the character from the picture in the corner is on the TV screen, press the middle button. Be careful though, pressing it too late will result in the TV screen changing and you not getting the right character, thus losing the game . The pictures will flash faster and faster the more "hits" you get. It has helped me to memorize the pattern that the characters come in (It's always the same order with random flashes of static) so that I can anticipate which character will come next.
