How do you put in codes?

I would like to put in codes but I don't know how. I'm also not sure if I have Tamagotchi connection v. 1 or v. 2 (Mine is like a hot pink color and it has purple and orange flowers on it)

I'm pretty sure you have a V2. If you do you should have a shop you can go to and buy items from . So go there, it's in the icon with the bat and ball on it. Click on that and click on shop. Then when the clerk is infront of you hit A 3 times really really fast and the clerk should look surprised, when he does type in the codes and there you have it!

u have to go to the store like he said, but you press a 1 time and then three times in the next 2 seconds. then you put in the code.
