on the back u take a small screwdriver unscrew the screw and then u will see battery take it out and replace it but this is not the right part of tamatalk to post this question

A: turn your tamagotchi around to its back, and get a screw driver that can unscrew the screw. once unscrewed, take the back lid off, and dont lose the screw. take the old battery out and put the new one in.
