My friends dad plays on his tama when he is at school and he is like 42 so it doesent realy matter how old you are it matters if you like them.

If you see on the official Tamagotchi site there is photos of adults who won Tamagotchis in contests, so people of all ages play with tamas!!

I think the majority of people who play with Tamagotchi are the ages between 6 and 10, but theres nothing wrong with older people playing with them. Theres plenty of adults and teens who are addicted to Tamagotchi. I'm 21 and have been into V-pets since 96/97. I do stop playing them for a few months but I always end up starting them back up.
