To get a sunnytchi on the v5 familitchi or famitama requires you to marry a charecter of your choice to the matchmakers sunnytchi but the match maker will be a planetchi to get this capability set your tamagotchi to 6:59 am and wait a minute then you matchmaker will be a planetchi (this may take 2 or 3 times before taking effect)

To find Planetchi instead of the dating channel's regular hostess is very rare. I think you may need to do it quite a few times.
P.S. another way of getting a Sunnytchi is to mate two V5 from different world regions. Example: a V5 from Australia mated to a V5 from the UK will produce a Sunnytchi (if the parents would normally create a blended family.) There are 4 regions: Japan, Oceania/Asia (such as Australia & Hong Kong), North America (meaning USA & Canada), and Europe.
