A fake is a non-Bandai product made to look like or being sold as a Tamagotchi. This item is neither, therefore, is not a fake. What exactly it is, I'm not sure. I haven't seen one like it before. Is it a virtual pet, or some other sort of hand-held game? Is there a company name on the back? Did it come with instructions?
