I always take preaty good care of my tamagotchi, but it always ends up evolving into a hohotchi

How could I get adifferent tama instead?

Well, try taking care of your tama differently. If you keep treating it the same way each time, it is very likely to evolve into the same charcter. So next time when your taking care of your tamagotchi, take care of it differently!

no, you cant, you cant get a hohotchi just normally. only by costume, that doesnt make sence. you just cant though, unless now you can.well,

a hohotchi is the costume that you get after you enter the shop codes. it is that costume that you where and then you change to another tamagotchi,just till night, when your tama sleeps, and it will change back.
