I got a V4 but I need help!

The letter symbol was flashing and when I went to it, a big guy (is it the king?) came to my tama and gave it something! What was it that it gave me, and what does it mean?

I just found out that it was a teacher, but I still don't know what it means...

The teacher gave you some kind of tool/symbol that gets you to school or work. go to the connection button and go to school and your tama will be holdnig it.

The symbol/item you get takes you to school. As you get older you will get mail again and you will receive a new one for going to a higher level in school. To go to school go to the connection icon and got to work which will take you to school. There you will do activities to get more skill points.
