how do your tamas get married? is it when they kiss? how do you know when your tama will have a kid? how old does it have to be?

They have to be at least six, I believe. All mine have been.

Well the ages usually vary.. =|

Once I had a 3 year old tamagotchi mate with a 5 year old. I think usually 4 and up.. (Rarely 3). Just patient, just keep on connecting for a day or so.
