so im new at this can some one

give me advice on how to get him

Feed him lots of snacks. Every tama loves snacks! (But watch out, he might get cavaties.) If he wont play, feed him a snack and then play. It's probably because if he plays, he'll lose weight and go under his minimum weight. If you feed him a snack, his weight will go up and he can play.
