iD L downloads-using a PC

I've seen lots of people with downloads and I'm really interested in them. But, I don't want to get an infra red phone just yet because someone I know has a laptop with an infra red sensor. Is it possible to transfer the downloads using that? Or do I have to get an infra red phone?

You can purchase an Infrared Adapter over on eBay, for around $5 to $30 tops. It's a lot cheapter, and a better option.

Kuribotchi is right. I purchased and Infrared USB port for my laptop. Some say that the IR cell phone is easier to use, but once I have played around with my IR USB, I've had great success getting my downloads over to my iD Ls. I basically keep the IR port stationary in one location and hold my iD L next to it so that I can still select the options I need. The IR USB can be a bit finicky at times, but having the patience is worth it

I got mine for $10, so they're very inexpensive.

It all depends on what you're willing to spend. If you want a usb it's around 10$ a phone probably 10-20$ unless you can find one for 10. But doesn't matter they all work
