ID L Max Age?

What is the oldest a tamagotchi on the ID L can be? I am leaving for college soon and I don't know if I will have enough time to take my baby to the matchmaker because he should be able to around the time I leave. So does anyone know how old they can get. Because I dont wanna loose him either. Haha.

There is no Oldie stage on the iD L and your character will live for as long as you take care of it. There's no age limit, though the counter does only go up to 99.

Well thats different. I knew there wasn't an Oldie Stage. But I assumed that meant they had made a limit on age or something. Exciting. Once I opening everything up. Maybe I'll just keep my most favorite. Haha.
