ID L visiting parents

So I got the Tamagotchi ID L, With the first generation I never completed the tama tomo stickers.

I did completed it with the second generation with Kuchipatchi

And now I'm in the 3rd generation with another kuchipatchi and it doesnt let me visit the parent from 2nd generation, help I dont get it? D:

You'll see the parent when you go to their house under the meal or snack options.

The meal one will take your father and the snack to your mother.

I think you have to wait until your tama is an adult first.

I haven't experienced that exact situation before, though noticing from my previous run that there were no instances that the parent/child characters are the same.

Since your previous generation was a Kuchipatchi and you are having the same character, I'm thinking that the system sees it as a double; therefore rendering it temporarily unavailable until you move on to the next generation with a completely different character.
