Iditarod

My teacher assigned everyone in our class a partner, then she assigned us mushers. Mushers are people who race with sled dogs. The Iditarod is a race held every year. Me and my partner were assigned the musher Hernan Maqueria. He is from Argentina. Have any of you guys heard of the Iditarod? Click here to go the the official Iditarod Website.

Yes, we learned all about it in fourth and third grade. They talked about it a lot in preschool too.

I remember reading a passage about the Iditarod in my fourth grade reading book many moons ago. We didn't get as in depth as you guys are, though. Sounds like a pretty cool project if you're a dog fan.
