Sure get a V2- it's upgraded from V1. More games... more fun! Plus, the mini's and older tamas aren't able to connect to the V1s or V2s because there is no infrared capability.

you have to get a v2 you cannot get a v1 no more cause they do not sell them.If you do buy a v1 keep it in the package it might caust a fortune.GOOD LUCK IN BUYING A NEW BUDDY!
