I've been looking at getting a Tamagotchi Ocean for a while now and at first I thought it would be cool to get a Japanese version. Then I realise that, while I do know a little Japanese, my grasp on English is far better so maybe I should get one of the American ones. Now, call me picky but I hate the American colours, they're just so... girly. So this leaves me at a bit of an indecision of which one I should get. Are there any advantages of having one rather than tghe other I should know about?

Since it's one of the older tamas, it's very easy to understand.
Feed it, play with it, clean it. Simple stuff. Not hard to figure out at all.
American ones are also going to (more than likely) cost WAY more since way less were made. You should be able to find a Japanese one for $25 - $35 dollars. Not too bad considering how high the American version has got on ebay. ($80ish sometimes)
