ipod help!

i just got a new ipod nano for xmas and it lets me put music on it but if i try to put a movie on it a message comes up saying that my computer is not authorized to use it. i also tried putting an episode of south park on it but a message came up saying that it cant be played on this ipod. has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it???????

May have to contact the Apple company, i can't be much help without being there. Im a wizz at this sort of stuff but not without being there. Sorry.
