you know.... my tama's gender shows BOY. But the generation says 2G.

If it says boy then it's a boy the reason why it says 2G is because it's the 2nd Generation. Just like if you had another tama mate that would be a 3G the 3rd generation and so forth. Get it?? dose my explonation make sence??

Ooooh sounds like your real stuck.

Your tamagotchi is a boy. Simple as that. Now, about the G2....obviously the tamagotchi you had before mated and had a baby. This is the second generation, and if this tamagotchi has a baby, it'll be the 3rd.....and so on. Understand? If you don't mate your tamagotchi, and it dies, then you're new tamagotchi will be at generation 1 again.

2g mean that your on your second generation

Yes, it is a boy.

And unless your tama is a P1/P2, or it's a glitch and your tama hasn't mated yet, then it IS 2G.
