Is the tamagotchi 4U+ worth it?

For a long time now I haven't had access to an nfc capable phone and now I find myself with a brand new one (so new it's not on Mr. Blinkys list). I discovered it can download and open the app no problem. My question is is it worth getting a 4U+ to see if it can send to the tamagotchi or not, is the tamagotchi itself worth the cost if it can't communicate to my phone (I have a Sony Xperia XA if that helps)

I suggest doing some more research on the phone. Also try asking Mr.Blinky yourself; he'll respond in a reasonable amount of time. It's also worth doing some hunting on Tamagotchi 4u+s while all of this goes on. Good luck!
