You have two because you must of married your kutchipatchi to a yonepatchi. For that, you get a KUTCHIPA family.

You only get two eggs from pure families.

As for your smart family question, simply get bonding LOWER than 80%(Cannot be 80% or higher!) and you will get either a Hatsugatchi or the clock dude that should earn you a smart family...?

How can this be because he married a Chantotchi.

And Kutchipatchi and Chantotchi are not a perfect match!
