It sucks that the v5 can only connect with the v5. I have an old v3 from like , 2 years ago and I wanted to connect them. I was kinda disappointed to find out that the familitchi will only be social with its own kind &gt;___&gt;

I don't know, maybe it can't connect to the older versions because the V5 has a family, and all the other versions have one character. And if we connect the firstborn, what would be the point of raising a family? The firstborn goes to Tama Earth EXPO, plays the games, and if we use it in connection, then that would take away the whole point of raising a Familitchi. I think that's probably why BanDai didn't make that feature...

But it would be cool!

No ... It cant connect with the v4 either , my friend Jessica tryed on her cotton candy.

anyways , It can connect with the v5 , the fact that there is three characters has nothing to do with it..
