Unless you've been told it's reuseable, you're probably not going to know lol it's more of a trial and error kind of thing, if you use it and it's still in your item list then you can use it again and again.. Items in the shop come up more than once so even if you use it and it disappears, you will probably get the chance to buy another one before too long

well, its usaully the items that cost 400 points and lower(apart from the panda costume and some treats)everything else is reuseable

I agree with *tamafan!*. I don't think the foods are reusable. And I know that you can use the pencil only once. There are only like 5 things that you can't reuse. (Besides foods)
